Mahakhu is an online jewellery store based in Dhaka, Bangladesh, selling at mahakhu.com. By browsing our store or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not place an order. For questions about anything below, contact us before ordering and we will help.

All prices are in Bangladeshi Taka (৳) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Product photos, colours and sizes are shown as accurately as possible, but handmade jewellery may vary slightly from piece to piece.

Prices and stock can change without notice. At checkout we re-check the live price and stock of every item — if something in your bag has changed, we will show the updated price before you confirm the order.

You can shop with or without an account. Customers with an account add items to a saved bag and check out using a saved address. Guests keep items in their own browser bag and enter delivery details at checkout — no login needed.

An order is placed when you submit the checkout form, and it is accepted once you confirm it with the OTP sent to your phone. Until then the order stays pending and is not yet confirmed.

Every order needs a one-time password (OTP) sent by SMS to the phone number you provided. Enter the 6-digit code to confirm your order.

OTPs expire after a short time and resending is rate-limited, so you may need to wait briefly before requesting a new code. If you never confirm, the pending order is not processed and stock is released.

When a guest order is placed with a phone number that has no account yet, we create a customer account for that number automatically so the order can be tracked and supported.

After your first guest order is confirmed, we encourage you to claim your account by setting a password instead of checking out as a guest again. Use one phone number per account, and keep your login details private — you are responsible for activity under your account.

We accept cash on delivery (COD), bKash, Nagad and bank transfer. For mobile payments that require advance payment, follow the payment instructions shown at checkout and keep your transaction ID.

Where advance or partial payment applies, upload your payment proof (transaction ID and, if asked, a screenshot) from your order page. Orders with unverified advance payments may be held until payment is confirmed by our team.

We deliver all over Bangladesh. The delivery charge depends on your district and is shown at checkout before you confirm — some orders qualify for free delivery, which is also shown there.

Estimated delivery times depend on your area and courier load. If a delay happens, we will share tracking information where the courier provides it. Please give a complete address and a reachable phone number so the courier can find you.

Because jewellery is worn close to the skin, earrings and hygiene-sensitive pieces are final sale unless they arrive damaged or with a manufacturing defect. Other pieces may be exchanged for size or defect issues — message us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photos.

To qualify, items must be unworn, unaltered and in original packaging. Confirmed defects are exchanged or refunded to the original payment method; return shipping for change-of-mind requests is paid by the customer.

Coupon codes may carry a minimum order value, an expiry date or a usage limit. Only one coupon applies per order, and discounts are calculated automatically at checkout.

We may cancel an order or remove a discount if a coupon was applied in error, is expired, or was misused. If that happens we will tell you before processing payment or dispatch.

These terms may be updated from time to time, and the version on this page at the time of your order applies. Continued use of the store after an update means you accept the revised terms.
